Antrim Coast Half marathon

Residents & Spectators

Dear Sir/ Madam,

As you may be aware, the Condor Executive Antrim Coast Half Marathon will be taking place on Sunday 25 th August 2024. The Antrim Coast Half Marathon is a World Athletics Elite Label Series Road Race and was ranked second in the world in 2023 with a new men’s UK and Ireland All Comers record being set. It was watched on digital platforms by over 1.1million people globally. This year the race has once again attracted some of the world’s leading athletes, as well as mass participants from 30 different countries.

We want to reach out to the residents on the course to make them aware of our plans for the 2024 event. It is our intention to minimise any disruption to the area, however roads will be closed for a period of time to permit the safe running of the race. The BBC will once again be covering the race, streaming live on iPlayer and on the Red button. The race will start at 9.30am and the last participant is expected to finish no later than 1pm. Road closure information including estimated reopening times are detailed overleaf. In recent years your support has helped to create an amazing atmosphere in the town, and we

would love you to join us again this year to make this fantastic event even more welcoming to the thousands of new participant’s and supporters visiting our beautiful town in Antrim Coast.
