THE MEA ANTRIM COAST HALF MARATHON 2023
The MEA Antrim Coast Half Marathon 2023 has been approved by World Athletics as an Elite Event. The World Athletics certified course takes in some of the most stunning scenery in Europe, combined with some famous landmarks along the route.
With it’s flat and fast course, the race is one of the fastest half marathons in the world.
Starting at the beginning of the iconic Antrim Coast Road, the course sweeps into Larne Harbour and through Larne town before moving onto the world famous Antrim Coast Road.
The coast’s stunning landscapes featuring in many movies and television series, including HBO’s Game of Thrones, who used the area extensively as one of the filming locations.
We are providing competitor accommodation at Dalriada Student Village, University of Ulster Campus, Jordanstown.
We are running Shuttle Buses return from Belfast & Dublin for race competitors & spectators

Four-time Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah won the Antrim Coast Half marathon 2020 in 60:27
Before the 2020 Race, Sir Mo commented;
“I’m really looking forward to taking part in the Antrim Coast Half Marathon.
It’s a fast course, really exciting to see what I can do.”.
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. They do this through lifeboat search and rescue, lifeguards, water safety education and flood rescue.
